View Full Version : Christmas episode nancy77 11-12-2012, 03:23 PM was there ever a Christmas episode if so what season Jude The Obscure 11-13-2012, 08:20 PM no, they never made a Christmas episode. It would have been funny to see Jeannie blink in Santa and snow in Cocoa Beach! :D nancy77 11-13-2012, 10:23 PM oh i though there was because of this http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/17700000/Jeannie-Christmas-i-dream-of-jeannie-and-bewitched-17700860-709-579.jpg TV Knowledge Fan 11-18-2012, 12:17 AM ...because producer Sidney Sheldon didn't want to create one. However, I have seen a special "tag" originally shown at the end of the December 26, 1966 episode, where Larry and Barbara (in costume) are on the patio set, telling viewers the show's cast and crew wishes everyone a very happy holiday and New Year. She blinks, and snow gently falls on them, giggling as the scene fades to black... :tv: djinnitaur 11-25-2012, 01:48 AM oh i though there was because of this http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/17700000/Jeannie-Christmas-i-dream-of-jeannie-and-bewitched-17700860-709-579.jpg That was an image I created in Painter and Photoshop for the owners of the Jeannie Sisters site. I did that image almost exactly six years ago, as my files are dated 12-3-2006 :) I 'shopped in the beard and hat on Larry, masked their clothing to change the coloring, and then used the "furry" brush in Painter to make the edging. It still looks a little cartoonish, but that was the best I could do with the tools at the time. It is interesting to see it show up elsewhere online, but there was never an image like that from the show. This is purely a creation long after the fact :) CAJeannieFan57 12-12-2012, 12:11 AM Yes, indeed-y, it was on our site and Djinnitaur did it for us. We specifically have a "no snitching our photos" note on our site, but I'm sure it happens anyway! If you want holiday episodes of IDOJ, you'll have to look for fan-fiction episodes. We have them on our site, in our "virtual continuation series". ansara1 02-16-2023, 09:24 AM ...because producer Sidney Sheldon didn't want to create one. Could it have been the previous episode, "Jeannie Breaks the Bank" which aired Dec. 19, 1966? I only ask since this episode aired BEFORE Christmas AND because they mention Maj. Nelson's Christmas Club fund account (which Jeannie puts three million dollars in). Just curious. :) Willbo 02-16-2023, 10:47 AM Does anyone have the clip of Jeannie and Tony wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year? That would be cool to see. |
