I want to say "Happy Veterans Day" to the ones who fought for Freedom, and for the Afghanistan/Iraq Vererans out there...you deserve open arms back here (and some did too).

My brother is in his fifteenth year of his Air Force career. I'm thinking of him especially today, as well as my many other family and friends who are serving or have served.

My dad served in the Army/Air Force in China during WW2 supplying The Flying Tigers. My husband served in the Army from "62-'65 in Germany guarding the borders. This was just prior to the full blown Viet Nam "conflict". He almost volunteered to go there but his wonderful Superior officer talked him out of it thank goodness! The officer knew something that my husband didn't ,I guess, and I thank him whoever he is and wherever he is!This was years before we met.
