Because there are only 2 bedrooms upstairs. Plus who would put their teenagers downstairs?

I figured that they would have a room upstairs, and DJ;s room would be downstairs.

I would never put my youngest child downstairs alone.

Ok darlene and becky down stairs and DJ upstairs. Actually a house usually has all 3 bedrooms on the upper level like my mom house

Her room was in the upstairs front, the middle room which was my brother's and the back room which was mine.

So they had kind of a weird set up

Not all houses are the same, I have seen plenty of houses where the master is downstairs. My mom is a real estate agent and an interior designer and believe me there are a lot of houses where the master is downstairs. I have seen two bedroom houses that only has a Master upstairs and the second bedroom downstairs.

I don't think it's wise to have your teenagers downstairs alone, especially if you ground them, they could just walk right out the front door once you're in bed and you wouldn't hear a thing. So having the parents downstairs makes more sense.

Becky was on the second floor and still went out while she was grounded:lol:

That was because Dan forgot that she was grounded.

I've seen homes where the master bedroom is on the bottom floor and the kids' rooms are upstairs. My aunt's old house was set up like this.

I thought this post was going to be how the bedroom doesn't align with the outside shots. For the room to work in the configuration of the interior of the house, it would actually be toward the front of the house and the window on the side of the room, the one where Dan and Roseanne view the elderly nudists, would actually be one of the front windows to the house.

But the outside shots clearly don't show an extra window and it's suggested the bedroom window is on the side of the house facing the neighbor's.

I know, no big deal, but yeah...haha
