I know this isn't a sitcom but back in the late 80s/early 90s on ATWT when Oakdale seemed to revolve around the Snyder farm, it always killed me that the poorest family on the show seemed to be feeding half the town. Not all the time, but Jethro was often associated with a healthy appetite. Granny would fix him a lunch big enough for a large grocery bag.
