"Beauty and the Beast" Gets a Full-Season Pickup

Freshman drama "Beauty and the Beast" has been given a full-season pickup, The CW announced Friday.

This week, the show, which stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan, jumped 9 percent in total viewers. For the season, it's averaging an audience of 2.4 million and a 0.9 rating among adults 18 to 34, according to the network.
