This is strange. I saw a Walter Findlay costume similar to this one on the Maude board. These costumes look like they were made for little children but what children under the age of 5 would have even been watching Maude or One Day at a Time back then?

Mom: Who do you want to be for Halloween sweetheart? Wonder Woman? Cinderella? A princess?

5 year old daughter: Ann Romano.

Yeah I don't think Ann Romano would be a real popular choice for a little girl's Halloween costume!  :D

What about a "Schneider" costume for little boys?
I think it would be easy: Just get a white T-shirt, blue jeans, vest, a tool belt, roll up a pack of cigarettes under one sleeve, draw a fake moustache and a mermaid tattoo, and VOILA!
Then let him roam around the neighborhood, and barge in unannounced! Better if he lives in an apartment building.

OH yeah!!! To be Schneider you would have to have a pack of cigarettes rolled up in your sleeve! Even if smoking isn't politically correct these days!

Another thing , Schneider seemed to always be chewing gum! The kid wearing the Schneider costume would really have to be chomping down on the gum! ;)
