Some time ago, I had discovered a list of when the first colour television broadcasts were first transmitted to the general public in certain countries throughout the world.

For example, the United States gradually transitioned from black and white television to colour television between 1953 and 1968. Colour television was introduced in Canada in 1966, and Canada had full-time colour transmissions since 1974.
I had also discovered a list of when television was introduced in certain countries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_introduction_of_television_in_countries).
