BTW, I never read spoilers, and would like to keep it that way, so if you have read spoilers and I am totally wrong, please don't tell me what really happens. I'd rather wait and find out myself.

But I do really think that Susan and Mark belong together, and they haven't done much lately on the whole Susan/Carter front....

I think Mark and Susan were meant to be together. I think Mark and Elizabeth will split up also.

Hmmm....this whole dying thing is....disturbing, but ya know I think you're probably right.

I was trying to think of ways they would write him out of the show, and I was thinking well maybe he'll go into private practice in Chicago, or maybe he'll move to St. Louis or wherever so Rachel can be close to her mom and dad (though still separate), and of course, that nasty brain tumor killing him idea was always lurking in the back of my mind, but I was trying to be optimistic.

i, myself, think that mark will choose lizzie and ella over rachel. he and lizzie just have too much to break up.

i doubt mark will die cuz of the brain tumor. that's what TPTB want us to think. there's probably gonna be a twist somewhere at the end of season. like anthony edwards once said, "there are alot of el trains in chicago. mark could get hit by one of them". so who knows, mark may get hit by an el train.

If Mark does die, that would certainly make interesting storylines for next season. I think something drastic will happen with him, and I'm not sure what?
Maybe he has some sort of lapse while at work and the staff of the ER tries to safe him but fail in doing so. Perhaps a 2h special could come out of that?
