OK, folks: according to a YouTube video posted over an hour ago, evangelical preacher Kirk Cameron, who turned 43 on October 12, discussed in an interview with rightwingwatch.org about how he believes if Mitt Romney is elected U.S. President tonight, that Christians will help defeat the Spirituality of Evil.

Do you readers agree with Kirk on this issue? If so, feel free to respond.

Just had to get in another plug about his age when it's totally irrelevant to his views on Obama and where's the link to this alleged video?

What does the "Spirituality of Evil" even mean?
If he thinks that President Obama has allowed some evil things to go on in his administration, then I'd agree with him. Of course, I think that could be said of every president of the USA or any other country for that matter. I don't think Mitt Romney would be any different in some regards. However, as far as I can tell (though admittedly Romney's views do seem to change fairly often for whatever audience he's addressing- not that Obama's don't as well at times- or any other politician's for that matter)- Romney does seem to be against abortion in general and for not redefining marriage to include anything other than a man and a woman united in holy matrimony before God.
Perhaps that is what he is referring to- I'm not sure. I would really have to watch this video in context to see what he means.
Regardless of who is president, there will still be evil in the world because we all still struggle with a sin nature. We can only have freedom from that through Jesus' death and Resurrection- and even then, as Christians we still battle against the old man of sin.
I don't really care much for either candidate personally- but whoever is elected, I will do what God commands us to do regarding those He has placed in authority- respect them and pray for them. No matter who is US President or any other leader of any other country, Jesus is still King of Kings and Lord of Lords above them all.:)

just so you know, the 42-year-old Kirk Cameron is wrong - Mitt Romney isn't even technically a Christian; he's a Mormon.

Exactly, and there is a huge difference between Christianity and Mormonism! They don't have the same beliefs at all! I'm so sick of running into stuff like this! And another thing, people, Barack Obama is not a Muslim!

No matter what 42-year-old Kirk Cameron may say, I will never think any less of him because I never thought anything of him in the first place!

It's so sad to see how militant he's become in his faith like this. I'm a Catholic, but I really don't agree with his approach at all. He could probably learn a lot of tact from his sister.

AMEN! Mormonism was founded by a Con-artist named Joseph Smith!
