My pets are all having severe anxiety attacks and hiding in the house. They are so frightened especially with the howling wind and the loud tree banging on the roof.

I'm sorry about your anxiety attacks, Sol. It's probably good that you're not eating right now because if you're this upset, you might get sick and vomit. Since you're not eating, be sure to drink plenty of fluids.

Things are okay so far here in Hamilton, NJ. Lots of wind and rain outside, but thankfully we still have power, and nothing has been damaged.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.

in Central Ohio, okay here, we're having high winds(and had rain since yesterday), alot have lost power in some counties here.

Our neighbors across the street don't have power, but we do. It is still raining, but not like yesterday. I think we lucked out in a lot of ways at our house.

I'm in TN, so I'm not affected by the storm. But, Kristen is. We've been leaving voicemails back & forth, and she's fine, but without power. Hope everybody stays safe! All we have to deal with in TN is the cold.

Had a good night sleep and everything turned out ok. Storm appears to be over. Hope everyone else is ok

Sandy TRASHED my Halloween Graveyard, but I have since rebuilt it. Temperatures in Daytona have fallen into the 60s.

We haven't lost power here (Cleveland area), but my sister and brother-in-law did. To make it worse, two spruce trees are perilously close to falling on their house. My sister is working today, but my brother-in-law has the day off. So he dropped the kids off at our house and went back to his place to wait for the tree service to arrive.

Very fortunate that we didnt lose power and really no damage. Thank God for that. Im grateful for that and my heart goes out to all those affected. Try to stay strong.

I live in New York, too. All of the subway stations are totally flooded....a lot of other damage in this area.

I'm back. We lost power and there were some flooding in other towns around the area but my town seems to be okay. We had rain and winds but nothing too bad. It could have been alot worse.

thankfully, I made it through ok. We didn't lose power or anything.

I live in Manhattan and lost power for four days. It's up now and so am I!

I live in CT and we did not lose power at all, but I work security for a utility company and have had at least 12 hour days since Monday and still has not let up yet (probably Monday or Tuesday). Still, my heart goes out to those who are still without power.

I made it through the storm. Power was out for over 24 hours, but now all is back to normal.

I hope that everyone's power who was affected by the Hurricane Sandy is restored soon.

There have been frequent power outages here and it has nothing to do with Sandy. In the last three weeks the power has gone out here four times 10/16, 10/18, 11/2 and 11/3. The longest was yesterday for just over four hours. I'm hoping it wont be a continuous thing.

Last weekend, there was a woman from Staten Island that appeared on the Canadian Weather Channel and she said that there are a lot more deaths than what the media reported. I then heard that mentioned on the Headline News Station of CNN.
