5. Both Cliff and Dan had the same personality which was goofy and sometimes laid back.

They can be compared, I don't see why not. They are both strong families as you have pointed out.

The economic differences are big between the families as well. I don't really remember the Huxtables having any financial issues, other than the amount of money they were going to give to their children. They taught the value of money on different occasions, though.

Yeah I just felt the need to put it out there because so many people say they are totally different shows and they are not.

Can you imagine Clair and Roseanne meeting each other? I bet they would hate each other. Cliff and Dan might get along okay.
