Which of these long-running sitcoms do you think should end at the end of this season?

I love The Simpsons, but I think it's time for it to end already.

I agree. The episodes are getting pretty bad.

Fraiser and Friends both need to call it a day.

Of the ones listed above, I would have to go with

Drew Carey
Simpsons
Dharma And Greg
Just Shoot Me
Ally
And to add one more

King Of The Hill

All were very good shows, but they have run out of ideas.

I hear that the cast of Friends are in contract negotiations again, so it look like they'll be around for a ninth season...

All except Raymond and King of Queens.

I voted for the following:

"Frasier"
"Friends"
"Drew Carey"
"The Simpsons"
"Just Shoot Me"
"Ally McBeal"

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

(There isn't a rule against voting for more than one, is there?)

Friends should have ended 6 seasons ago, IMHO.

I've been a long-time fan of "Fraiser", but I think it's time for the cast to pack it in. Most of the storylines seem to be about how Fraiser Crane keeps messing up his love life week after week. Also, ever since Niles and Daphne have gotten together, it seems like the writers don't really know what to do next with those characters.

Martin is the only character who is still entertaining to watch (along with Eddie). Roz seems to have been pushed into the background - they should be giving her more to do on the show. I'm not sure why the actor who played "Bulldog" Briscoe left a few seasons ago, but if he could be persuaded to come back, that would also pump some new life into the show.

Friends is the most watched sitcom on tv so I don't think they will be calling it a day quite yet.....I think they will do another season

Some more shows that need to be cancelled:

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"
"Fear Factor"
"Temptation Island II"
"Will and Grace"
"WWF Smackdown!" (any anything wrestling, for that matter)

Wasn't "Seinfeld" the most watched (or at least one of them)when its cast decided to hang it up after the 1997-1998 season?

Yes, it was the number one show in its final year.

Let's hope "Friends" stays on the air a little longer. It's been really good lately... I would have to say "Frasier" and "The Simpsons" need to go.

I think that they should end these sitcoms:

Friends (I really don't like it)

Drew Carrey Show

Just Shoot Me

Whose Line Is It Anyway?

They need the TV-G sitcoms like they did in the 70s-80s!

Have Linda Lavin should star in another show....probly wouldn't last for more than 2 episodes like M.Y.O.B. did.

ABC's post Millionaire sinkhole most likely will lead to Dharma, Drew and Spin City all getting axed this year. All have gone from being solid time slot performers to complete bombs. They all get 5 or 6 ratings at best. That's more like UPN/WB ratings. Disney has run that network into the ground.

I think that ABC should do some major cancelling. Its time to say Goodbye to AFV....I think the show is horrible without Bob Saget. They should also cancel Bloopers too...enough is enough.

I don't think Drew Carey or Whose Line are going to be cancelled this year, despite what their ratings are. ABC renewed both shows last spring for 3 seasons. So there will 2 more seasons of Drew plumbing the depths of the ratings before ABC can let the axe fall.

As for the show I think is most deserving of cancellation, it's The Simpsons. It's sad that this show, with its serious decline in overall quality, is being kept on. It's also sad that the best of FOX's Sunday animated shows, Futurama, is the most likely to get the axe.

I think that as long as Simpsons fans are still watching, FOX will keep the show on. I still find myself watching The Simpsons every Sunday night. As bad as the show has gotten, it's still a heck of a lot better than a lot of the crap that's currently on the air today.

Even though I like Friends, I think it has gone on about 2 seasons too long. Frasier would be my second vote, but I think Frasier has a contract until 2004. Correct me if I'm wrong.
