"Friends" Almost Ended WITHOUT Ross and Rachel Together -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

It’s hard to imagine "Friends" concluding one of TV’s most iconic relationships with anything other than a happy ending. But that’s almost what happened.
As producer David Crane reveals in this exclusive clip from the "Friends" Blu-ray set, on sale Nov. 13, there at one time had been talk of concluding Ross and Rachel’s story in a much more open-ended manner.
Obviously, those plans were killed. But can you believe that was ever on the table? (Does. Not. Compute.)
"The question 'Do you get Ross and Rachel together?', first we were like 'That would be so expected'. Then we were like 'Maybe not really together but there's still hope for the future...'
Finally we said 'Screw that. People have waited 10 years, let's just give them what they want and do this really well.'
Even knowing that it was coming, the moment that she walked through the door, I'm a sucker for stuff like that."
