Key Art and New Photos for "Mockingbird Lane"

In less than one week, NBC debuts Mockingbird Lane, a reboot of "The Munsters", and we've got a look at the promo art for the Halloween special.

Demonstrating that the forthcoming NBC Halloween special Mockingbird Lane is not going to be your typical look at "The Munsters", showrunner Bryan Fuller has revealed two new images, including a bloody look at Grandpa Munster (Eddie Izzard).

He changed the characters so drastically it makes no sense that he licensed the Munsters. Surely it would have been cheaper just to create his own family of Monsters. I have to say it looks dreadful...

I thought this show was already cancelled, before it started, and the pilot was just going to be aired as a Halloween special!

Saw a promo for it earlier today and it looks awful!

I agree. I love the original series, but this doesn't look something I would ever be into.

Remember when TV was fun? (sigh)

I'm thinking they're trying to make The Munsters, more like The Addams Family. In the series, the Munsters' were actually monsters, while the Addamses only dressed ghoulishly.

I'll still watch and see how it goes. Lily does look sexy though lol.
