Lionel (Damon Evans) & Jenny live where Lionel's legendary folks did in the same "de-luxe apartment in the sky", with Florence as their maid.
Ralph the doorman & Charlie the bartender are still working at their posts.
Jessica and her husband and kids visit occasionally.
They might have new characters living in the building as well.

That's a neat idea, and it would be cool to see how the show would work in today's world, but didn't Lionel and Jenny divorce in the end or did they just separate?
So sad how most of the cast has passed. :(

Well, being that they're the only surviving Mr. & Mrs. Jefferson, I guess that for this to work, they would be reconciled.
I do think it's neat that this many of the cast are still alive! And just the right people for this to work!
And I know what you're probably thinking, folks - "It's not the real Lionel". But he's the only one available, so we'll have to take what we can get in that regard. It'd be okay with me, if that meant this was possible.
