Out of the diff'rent angel combinations which do you think is best?

The 1977-1979 ensemble was the best. I also liked the 1976-1977 and 1979-1980 ensembles. The combination of Sabrina, Kelly, and Kris was great.

Well, some people do blame Tanya Roberts for ending the show but, in truth, the combination of repeated story lines and the absolute unpopularity of Shelly Hack killed the show; Tanya Roberts was added, when it was already too late for her to save it. Shelley was SO unpopular, that she was replaced after only one season!

And while i will admit that Tanya Roberts WAS a lousy actress, at least she looked great in a bikini , which Shelley Hack certainly did NOT :lol:

Anyone who was brought on to replace Kate Jackson was going to have to deal with A LOT of criticism. Aaron Spelling could've hired Meryl Streep to play Tiffany and it wouldn't have helped. All the chemistry amongst the characters vanished once Kate left.

My favorite ensemble is Sabrina, Kelly, and Kris.

However, I really loved it when there were 4 Angels: Sabrina, Kelly, Kris, and Jill.

This is a tough call; I was going to say Sabrina, Kelly and Kris but in S1 (although I like Kris better than Jill overall), Kelly seemed to be more streetwise and less sweet. Kelly got boring towards the end of Season 2. Plus I liked how the stories were grittier in Season 1, so I will stick with Sabrina, Jill and Kelly as a team.

Even though I love Farrah as an original angel, Sabrina, Kris and Kelly seemed to gel a bit better. The 2nd season scripts/stories were better too.

But in S1, didn't Kelly get hypnotized/tricked and tried to kill herself and Jill? I think it was the 11th episode, The Seance, in Season 1.
