Ralph Kramden, a NY Yankee fan? (Part 5) (The NY Yankees win the ALDS, three games to 1, by beating the Baltimore Orioles 3-1.)
(Ed & Ralph have just watched the game in the pool room.)
Ed: “What a game Ralph-ie boy.”
Ralph: “Yeah, that was a classic. They Yankees really showed those Baltimore birds something.”
Ed: “Now, it is time for them to concentrate on the Championship Series.”
Ralph: “They will be facing the Detroit Tigers. The same BUM team that they lost to last year.
Ed: “If the Yankees win that series, they might have to play the As cross town rivals: The San Francisco Giants.”
Ralph: “I sure hope that the Yankees meet the Giants in the World Series if they get that far. There’s a guy on SiriusXM Radio called Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo. He ahs a channel on SiriusXM radio called Mad Dog Radio. He HATES the Yankees and LOVES the Giants. Every time before 2010 when the Giants lost in the playoffs, he got upset on the radio and whenever the Yankees lost in the playoffs, he had a FIELD DAY on the radio especially in 2008 when the Yankees missed the playoffs for the first time since 1993.”
Ed: “He broadcasts from New York right?”
Ralph: “That what makes it more ironic. I would love to hear him whine when the Yankees beat his Giants and causes the Giants championship drought to extend even though it is only like one year old.”
Ed: “But if the Giants win, I would be happy for them. I feel happy for them already since they play right near all that water.”
Ralph (yells): “GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!”
(Ed leaves.)
(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)
Jackie: “Thank you. The Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!”
(Audience cheers.)
