View Full Version : How Many Other Cities Can Fit In Los Angeles?
Fleet 10-11-2012, 04:32 AM I found this old article in a storage box.
It shows how many other cities can fit into the Los Angeles city limits. It looks like 7, not including Manhattan.
BTW, in that map, I live in what would be the far western part of Milwaukee, south of the 118 freeway and west of the 405 freeway.
Penny Lane 10-11-2012, 11:37 AM Wow! That's a BIG CITY! Not to steal it's thunder but isn't Jacksonville Florida the largest city(area- wise)?
Vahan 10-11-2012, 01:30 PM I live in Glendale, which would be around the Milwaukee part of L.A.
MrCleveland 10-11-2012, 02:40 PM Cleveland is by the Pallisades.
D-Dey 10-11-2012, 02:59 PM Okay, so you've got Manhattan, so where would you fit the other four boroughs?
And how much does Long Beach, California know about Long Beach, New York?

There is only so much room! But remove the other cities and all of the New York city limits would easily fit.
And how much does Long Beach, California know about Long Beach, New York?
I don't know. How much does Long Beach, New York know about Long Beach, California? ;)

Yes, unless it's changed, Jacksonville has the most land area.

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't doubt they frequently have to emphasize the fact that they aren't from that Long Beach, whenever the subject comes up.

Since the population of Long Beach, California (462,257) is a lot more than Long Beach, New York (33,275), I'm quite sure that the California Long Beach is well known by many.
