After recent speculation regarding the future of "Mockingbird Lane," NBC's Munsters reboot, some have been proposing (myself included) that the network air the pilot this fall as a Halloween special. And they'll be doing just that on Friday, October 26 at 8/7c, before "Grimm."

I personally would've preferred if they aired it on Wednesday, October 31, instead of those under-performing comedies at 8:00pm (Friday is generally a low-rated night), but I suppose the pairing with "Grimm" (which will also be a Halloween-themed episode) makes more sense.

This way they can also test the pilot and see if they should go ahead with the series in the future or not. Or, as the article suggests, they might be just looking for a way to recover some of the $10 million they spent on the pilot.
