He was asking Susan why do the doors in the bathroom come all the way down to the floor? Then Susan said...."So you can see if someone is in there"
Then George said....'Isn't that what the lock on the door is for"?
LOL. I agree with him, I never understood why it never came to the floor

As a former carpenter I can tell you for a fact that the reason a bathrooms' doors never come down to the floor is in case the sink or tub is over flowing, the water seeps out under the door easily to alert the home owner earlier.

I guess you just never feel like you are having a private moment when you are in a public bathroom because of the door factor and the fact that someone can easily see you.

Thanks for sharing that. That's interesting. I thought that it was in case there was an emergency and someone needed to crawl underneath there to get the person out. I remember in Are You There God? It's Me Margaret by Judy Blume, that one of the characters did that.
I can understand looking for feet, but I don't get the people that look through the door cracks to see if the stall is occuppied.

One time I was using the bathroom at Walmart and the lock was broken. I wish the guy that tried to get in my stall had looked to see if someone was in there first. I remember yelling, "Occupied!"
