Now if I really wanted to and had the patience, I would check my DVDs. But that's too easy. I do remember seeing JJ reading that magazine on the couch when I caught it. I want to say the episode when JJ thought he had VD, The ground beef episode where everyone thought it was dog food, or the Lunch money ripoff. I could be wrong in all cases, but I definitely know JJ was reading it on the couch when it was clearly seen.

Yep, J.J in Trouble. He was acting as if he was reading it right before Thelma and Mike came through the front door.

Well since the Magazine was released in 1976, we can eliminate the years below

1974
1975

You can remember what episodes the magazine appeared in twice, but you didn't remember that Carl and Flo got married?

The episode was "Sweet Daddy" where Michael is reading Ebony.

No just fun talk like on tv.com. I honestly thought no one else would know the answer because it wasn't that obvious. But I was wrong

And what's weird is the magazine was a lot bigger back then. Now it's smaller and it cost more

Most likely the set dresser or director from prop purposes. It could have been a random thing.

Well that means that Weezy should have been holding up this magazine during season 2 of the Jeffersons

ThomasE

Not necessarily as this magazine is probably from 1974 as the pic is taken from season one (1973-1974). The season two for "The Jeffersons" is from the 1975-1976 season.

Depends of if they had an Ebony mag on hand or anything with the GT cast on it. Also you know good and well that J.J or Michael would not have been holding up a mag with Happy Days cast on the cover or Laverne & Shirley.

Well there was a Ebony Magazine with Muhammad Ali on the Front that that george was holding in a season 1 episode. And that magazine was released in Jan of 1975, so it could have happened

But that did not have another sitcom cast on it. Muhammad Ali wasn't a rival sitcom.
