Any chance of COVER UP being released on DVD soon????

It will be 28 years in October since model/actor Jon-Erik Hexum's tragic accident on the set of Cover Up.
He would later be declared brain dead and pulled off life support.

I doubt it. I went ahead and transferred my VHS masters on the series. I would suggest you do the same.

May have to at this point. The music licensing would cost a fortune I bet.

Got most of these on beta. Great series, but it lost something when Hexum died.

That, and even if it wasn't for music, Fox wouldn't put it out themselves, or even give it to someone else, because they suck.

I was going to say, "Never say Never", but then I saw its owned by FOX. They're worse than SONY as far as getting old tv series out on DVD.

I vaguely remember seeing reruns on the Lifetime channel years ago.
I know of Jon-Erik being on there briefly but the one that stands out in my mind was the Australian male model and Jennifer O'Neill. There was sexual tension between the characters I think.

I'm shocked FOX even finished the DVD releases of the Mary Tyler Moore Show :o

SHOUT or MPI could be our only hope in seeing Cover-Up remastered on DVD.
I would gladly take the music substitution just as long as its released for a whole new generation.

I heard there's been a falling-out between Shout and Fox over licensing, yet for some reason, Shout is still selling some Fox-owned shows on DVD.

Maybe Revelation Films, who is in the process of putting out all 8 seasons of L.A. Law on DVD in England, can do the job.

I hope this Revelation Films can bring Cover-Up: The Complete Series to DVD. Keep Jon-Erik's legacy alive.

Maybe it's his controversial death that's keeping the series from being put on DVD. He was so young, talented, and handsome. What a tragic waste.
