9. George and Louise personalities were extensions of the All in the Family's 5th season

Even my mom gets excited when she catches these episodes because of how explosive and funny they are.

too bad it was only a half season. Yeah, the first season was great. Speaking of George fighting, I like when he put up his dukes in that episode with Moses Gunn after he kicked him in the butt. Moses Gunn said, "What's the matter with you, n-*gga!" The funny part at the end was when Gunn mooned George on the way out the door. lol

Yeah the way he was looking putting up his hands against Monk was probably from his gang days in South Philly:lol:


We never saw that Louise and george again because it was a carryover from season 5 of All in the Family.

If you notice in season 2, Louise and George are not like they were in season 1

That's because the writers had to develop their personalities for the Jeffersons show. They already had that All in the Family rub off, so they had to show other side of George of Louise.

I know, I used to wonder why I never saw that george and louise again and it was because they had that All in the Family rub off.

Which explains why Louise had the bun in her hair.
