Roseanne contrasted with The Cosby Show, Not in terms of race, but class. In fact, you could swap out Roseanne for Good Times and get the same results.

No because

1. They lived in a house

2. Both parents were working

The End
And The Connors were not poor but They were not Rich either(Not counting season 9 when they won the Lottery) but they were not poor either, But they were closer to being Poor at times(When Dan Bike shop went under) I never really thought of The Connors as being poor but I guess it depends on everybody Defamation of being Poor. The Connors were a Middle class Working Blue Collar Family and Both Parents had Decent Jobs with an okay salary and lived in a (Okay maybe not the best) while small but okay/Nice House and had a decent income for the most part. They had enough money Together to Feed their Three Kids and buy them clothes and keep a roof over their heads, Obviously they were not poor because they gave Darlene Money to go to School in Chicago. They lived in a Fine Neighbourhood, that was the life of a Average Middle/Working Class Family in the 1990s. I grew up in a Middle/Working class family and My House(Where I lived until I was 12) was about that same size. My Parents both had Good Jobs with a decent Salary and a Average Income to feed me and My Three other Siblings, They were Blue Collar Workers. We were not poor but we were not Rich either. That is a Middle class Working blue collar Family, We always found a way to survive even when the times are rough. The Connors dealt with every day Problems and Issues that a Working Class blue Collar Family deals with Bills, Raising Three Kids, etc.

On Good Times The Evans were poor, They lived in a Two Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Apartment in the ghetto with three Kids. The Apartment was a Tiny Rundown and Dirty. They lived in the worst part of Chicago, The Mom did not work and the father on the show had a different job every week and some weeks he never had a Job, He never made(Correct me If I am wrong) more then Two dollars an Hour. They were Surviving on James Pay checks which were very little and were not Receiving other things like Welfare. The Evans were not Middle class Working Family and were not Blue collar. They were a Lower Class Family.

You can't compare The Evans and the Connors. Two totally different Families with different problems. One was Poor and the other ones were somewhere in between.
