You guys remember Gus, Steven's co worker at the PBS station? He was in several episodes but there was a 2 part episode where his wife and son were also there.
What's amazing is all 3 actors died soon after that episode! Gus was played by the actor John Hancock and he was obese so it's not so shocking but the actor who played the son was only in his 30s when he died of an asthma attack! I'm not sure what the mother died of but she was only in her 50s I believe!
It's just creepy that entire family of actors were struck down at a very young age to a relatively young age!

The mother died of breast cancer back in the early-mid 90's

And the son, played by Keith Amos, died of an asthma attack in 1998!

That is is odd all three of those actors/actress died.
Off Topic for a moment: It's like with the Golden Girls three of the four women died within a few years of each other. The oldest of the four, Betty White, is the only survivor.

But the Golden Girls were over 70 when they died.
What's creepy about this is 2 were in their 50s and 1 was only in his 30s! Struck down in their prime!

John Hancock was starring on the CBS series Love & War when he died. They even dedicated a show to him.

Old thread. But, the woman who played Gus's wife was acting as Mary Mae Ward on General Hospital when she passed away. Her name was Rosalind Cash.
According to Genie Francis (Laura on GH) none of Rosalind's co-workers even knew she had cancer. And, she was acting right up to her death.

Quite a few actors do that. Audrey Lindley(Mrs.Roper on 3's Company) literally died in the hospital with a script by her side of the show she was doing at the time!
