Yesterday, my cable provider, Time Warner picked it up! TW was the only cable provider that didn't carry the network! Apparently, NFL Network is gaining 70 million viewers! I won't miss any Thursday games now1

I used to have the NFL network but my dad had it taken away because he lost his job and the cable bill i guess was kinda expensive because there's some other channels that my dad had taken away like NBA network, some ESPN channels and TV One channel. I told him i wanna get the NFL network, NBA network and TV One channel back and i would pay for them. But i guess i can do without them because i watch the NFL games on CBS, Fox, ESPN, NBC and i watch the NBA games on ESPN and TNT. Only reason i watch TV One channel is because of the Unsung show that does r&b and rap music documentaries. I've seen a few of Unsung documentaries on Youtube that i missed like Ray Parker Jr, Sheila E, David Ruffin, Gerald Levert, Whodini.

I've seen the Ray Parker jr and the Whodini shows, they were good, check them out.

Back on topic, I already DVRed a show on the NFL network called, "Top 10 Collapses" for 9pm tonight, I'm interested in seeing how good that show maybe!

I kinda miss the NFL network because i like listening to Deion Sanders talk. I also like listening to Michael Irvin. Only guy i like listening to on CBS doing the NFL postgame show is Shannon Sharpe.

That's the pre-game show I usually watch on Sunday mornings. I used to watch ESPN.

I've been watching ESPN's over FOX and CBS pregame shows. If that one is better than ESPN's like you mentioned, it's got to be really good!

Is Time Warner your cable provider too?

Yep.

I do wonder if they will show the redzone for the Chargers even though the game is blacked out.

That's a good question, here in western NY, the Bills don't always sell out, but they are on the road this week. Call your local Time Warner.

I had a conversation with someone earlier about the next possible Los Angeles NFL team. Do you think the Chargers should make that move? The reason I asked because of the Chargers not selling out every week, and they are located nearby.

I think there has to be some circumstances for a team to be in L.A.. Chargers owner has always said he won't sell the team and I think that the NFL wants two teams in L.A..

This is the first blackout of the season so... we shall see.

Actually, I've heard them, and yes, they are dull. I had occasionally watched thursday games at one's home.

Yea they are dull but they are better than the original announcing team which had Bryant Gumbel. He was awful. He was even getting the teams he was announcing wrong. lol

My friend was saying that she was turning the game off because of how DRY the broadcast was. You don't get that feeling when you watch a game on

NBC, ESPN, FOX or CBS

NFL Network is ok. I mean I wish they would show classic games, NFL Films stuff, NFL Yearbooks etc. but for the NFL season they do a good job. You'll get sick of the NFL Top 10 because they show them often. The Top 10 Collapses was a new one and it was good.

Thats just me. I like the old stuff but if you like the Scouting Combine and the NFL Draft, then you'll like NFL Network.

Yeah that Top 10 collapses was good because I never know the story about the 1994 Eagles since I was in college. Starting 7-2 and falling to 7-9 I know made for some interesting headlines and philly sports talk radio LOL
