Okay, here's the story...

My godmother's son died last March, so, she now considers my mom her daughter. (Since her son never married.)

Anyway, her son left my godmother A WHOLE LOT of money, before he died. (The son was very rich)

After this woman heard about my godmother's "sudden fortune," she tricks my godmother into signing papers saying that SHE (the woman) would help her keep the money safe, but was really trying to steal it from her!!! My godmother signed these papers. (Since she did not know english and she (the woman) was best friends with her son.)

About 2 months ago, my godmother moves in to Queens, with that woman! (She didn't know at the time that she was trying to take her son's fortune.)

Now my godmother has just sold her son's home, and her home, moving in with the woman.

She was waiting for her son's money since last march, but it never came, so she asks the people (not sure who) about where the money was, and they said that a woman by the name____ (the name of the woman who she moved in with!!!) has it!

Now, my godmother sews the woman... and blah blah blah.

And that's not it! The lawyer that my godmother hired KNOWS that woman, meanig the lawyer may try to make her look bad. (my godmother doesn't know that her lawyer knew teh woman...)

So, what I'm trying to say is that...can you please wish my godmother and parenst good luck in winning the case.

I am sending good thoughts, good luck, and other such well-wishings their way! Hope everything works out for you guys!

If not, you know what I would do....I'd go get the local media involved....ya know how local media has like those "community watchdog/helper" features every now and then? This would be the kind of story they would eat up.

Or if you feel like going for bigger fish, I know I have seen stories of this exact nature on the national newsmagazines, like 20/20 and DateLine. I dunno.....maybe they could help if you need it....
