I am a huge fan of this show. It's my all time favorite.

Which show do you prefer? Old school Hawaii Five-0, or the new one. I like both verisons.

I like both too. I didn't think the new one would be as good as the old one, but it is. At first I tried comparing the two but that just doesn't work for me, I think of them as two totally different shows & both are very good.

The old one, without a doubt. The new one is too silly and unrealistic. They are trying to merge several different shows into one - a sitcom, soap opera, action/adventure show, buddy cop show, and crime drama. The mixture doesn't make for a good result.

I dislike the uneven story writing, with so many plot holes, and the overuse of car chases and shootouts. There seems to be one of each in every episode. Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan's arguing is juvenile, and the soap opera-ish story arcs take away from the main story lines and are not well-developed.

Of course The old school version!

The old is better, I liked the new one when it started but now its too...Ridiculous!

I like both but there's nothing like the original.

Never watched the new but I think it's stupid to revive these classic shows.

What's the point?

I like both, but both have their faults. The old one could be boring and melodramatic and the new one has become silly in the later seasons.
