Those of you who watched Night Court, would remember the kind of person Dan Fielding was. He was arrogant, sneaky, a jerk, and other things you can think of to describe him. But other than me, has anyone else noticed that Dan Fielding never told a lie and was never afraid to tell people what he thought of them? When the situation called for it, he would do the right thing. So sometimes we had the opportunity to see what is beneath that exterior of his. Remember when Harry quit his job? Dan convinced him to come back. Remember when Roz was on the roof and Dan came to the rescue? That is soooo un-Dan like! Dan Fielding did have a sweet and sensitive side though. Unless I overlooked something or didn't notice, Dan Fielding never told a lie. Or at least it seemed that he never did. But then again it seemed like alot of things in Night Court.

I have to agree with you, while morally bankrupt, he was honourable. Also, regarding his moral bankruptcy, he's the man you love to hate, much like Archie Bunker, swapping the bigotry for promiscuity.

At least he's not Dwight Haverstock from Deception.

I'm just sayin'.

Dan was not prejudiced -- he would have had sex with a woman regardless of race, color or creed.

Now if she wasn't hot on the other hand..

Dan was also a registered Republican, just like the Republican "swingers" on AITF.

Let's be thankful that in real life John Larroquette is not at all like this!

Last year I saw the Broadway show The Best Man and had front row seats with my aunt. When they took their bows, I waved to John Larroquette and he smiled at me. As soon as he came out of the stage door I asked him for hi sautograph and he came to me first. I shook his hand and told him some of my favorite Night Court moments and he said to me "you remember them better than I do."

Dan Fielding was the only good thing about the show. This show was definitely overrated.

Which I saw and absolutely loved! I didn't get to meet him for that one, but I did meet him at the stage door for The Best Man. Here's something cool about me meeting him. My aunt and I had front row seats and when the cast did their bows, I kept waving to him and he looked my way and gave me a smile.
