how many people here know someone who "loves the sound of their own voice". In other words, they always talk on and on and on and on.....

Oh yes! I know several people who never shut up! It's annoying! They are the type who end up bragging about themselves and think they know everything and think that they are always right. It's almost impossible to get a word in edgewise.:rolleyes:

Well, I can't say that my boyfriend loves the sound of his own voice, but he certainly has the "gift of gab", as my sister puts it!!! He's just a very sociable person, he has no problem talking to total strangers, whereas I hardly talk to anybody out in public unless somebody talks to me first.

What I was meaning was that he has no problem talking to total strangers, and since I don't talk to people in public much, he was the one who started talking to me first. And it went from there.
