There was a segment that I saw when I was a kid that scared the hell out of me. I remember very little of it. My best recollection is that 2 guys were involved in an altercation of some sort...Im pretty sure they didn't know each other, but when the one guy came home, he found the other guy at his house and he had stabbed his mother like 800 times...Does that sound vaguely familiar to anyone? I think the crazy one was wearing all black and had glasses. I wish I could say more but that's all I remember.

Sounds like the Dorothy Donovan case. I think her son's name was Charles Holden.

Yeah, it's Dorothy Donovan. Her son Charles Holden picked up the stranger from a fast food joint, claiming he needed to get to the hospital because his sister was having a baby. Charles didn't drive the guy the whole way because he needed to go home and they got into an altercation. Charles ditched the guy on the road and came back to find the guy lurking around his residence. They found his mom stabbed to death. It was all a coincidence that the guy found Charles' residence. He wanted a place to crash since he was high on cocaine and didn't know that someone was inside. He woke Dorothy and ended up stabbing her with the screwdriver he stole from Charles' truck. He is serving a life sentence for her murder.
