Rob Riggle Heads to "New Girl" as... a Second Schmidt?

As if one Schmidt wasn't enough, now there will be two on the upcoming season of "New Girl".

Rob Riggle has been tapped to play another Schmidt, the rival cousin of the original (Max Greenfield), TVGuide.com has confirmed. As first reported by TVLine.com, Schmidt 2.0 will pop up during the Thanksgiving-themed episode in November.



"New Girl" returns with two new episodes on Tuesday, Sept. 25 on Fox.
