September 24, 2012 will mark 27 years since the debut of Growing Pains.

In honor of this AMAZING occasion, what are your FAVORITE episodes? To answer my own question, I would say All the World is a Stage.

For 7 years, viewers tuned in to Share the Laughter & Love with the Seaver family on Growing Pains; during its peak, the show aired Tuesday nights at 8 P.M. on the ABC Television Network, after Whos the Boss?

The show made a teen heartthrob out of actor-turned-evangelical preacher Kirk Cameron (who will turn 43 on October 12), who met his wife, aspiring actress/model Nancy Mueller (known professionally as Chelsea Noble, who Kirk married, at age 21, on July 20, 1991), on Growing Pains when Nancy, then aged 25, was cast as Kate MacDonald, a potential love interest of Mike Seaver.

Just another thread to remind us for the umpteenth millionth time how old Kirk Cameron supposedly is.

In order to keep this on topic (because frankly just thinking of how old they are now makes me feel REALLY old! :( ), I'll list a few of my favorite episodes....

Carol's Crush-I just love this episode! So cute how Carol falls for the older family friend
My Brother Myself-This one might be my favorite. It's the one where Mike goes to that party with Boner and Eddie and they are pressured into taking drugs. The end of this episode is so touching!
Aloha is another favorite, where the Seavers go to Maui and Mike falls in love.
The Marrying Kind-Carol and Bobby announce their engagement. This one has one the sweetest endings.
Graduation Day-I love this episode mostly because it's so hilarious!
Second Chance-OMG such a heartbreakingly sad episode, with Matthew Perry as Carol's boyfriend.

Family Ties Forever!

That's cool that it will be 27 years later this month that Growing Pains debuted. It was my second favorite tv show behind Family Ties debuted 30 years ago later this month, on September 22nd. Both were great shows. :)
