Hey All,
Notice how when one adult speaks to another adult who were the parents of Beaver or Wally's friends that they are almost always addressed as Mr. or Mrs? The only time when this did not apply was Lumpy's Dad was referred to more as "Fred" than Mr. Rutherford.
Even though times were different, I think that the parents of Beaver and Wally's friends could have called each other by their first names. June could have called Mrs. Mondello by her first name, (For the record, it's Margret, but was never said in the series.) And Mrs. Mondello could have addressed Mrs. Cleaver as "June." The friendship between Beaver and Larry was strong enough that the formal introduction was not needed. Why couldn't Mr. Cleaver have been addressed as 'Ward" by the boys' friends' parents?
