I haven't read it yet, but I did put a hold on it at my library. Once it comes in and I get to read it, I'll share my thoughts with everyone.

Jimmie is funny on a lot of things. He tells all the comics he helped in show biz. And you can find out lots of backstage stuff about Good Times.

This sounds like an interesting read. I'd like to hear his stories about the backstage life of Good Times. Will have to look into ordering it when I can better afford to- I've bought a few too many dvds this month already, lol

I finished it not long ago and really enjoyed it. Only two chapters or so were dedicated to Good Times, but he provided a few tidbits I never knew about the show. His post Good Times career was interesting too and the entire book is peppered with bits from his comedy routines. I got my copy for under $3 for the Kindle, but would not have been disappointed had I paid full price.

My favorite story was when he was doing a gig in Vegas, making fun of Michael Jackson, when some guy in the audience started heckling and booing Jimmie. The heckler turned out to be none other than the Jackson patriarch, Joe Jackson!!!

Great Book, especially by his comments on Richard Pryor, and the situation concerning the show.
