I just bought season 4 and have watched pretty much all the eps. I will say you can really feel the love Bob Reed had for the children. I never really paid much attention until now but it's really sweet.

That being said... I think it's gross that the girl's step-dad gives them lip kisses. Even biological dads doing that grosses me out but especially a step one.

I don't think it's a big deal at all.

As long as its not a french kiss, I see no problem with it. lol I have a sister that I kiss on the lips when we see each other, no big deal.

I would only have an issue with it if he was a known pervert or pedafile. And later in years, they never even acknowledged being stepkids/parents - they lived as though they were blood related.

Yes, I was going to ask the same thing. (which episode) I really cannot remember if I noticed this or not before. It must have happened only once/rarely because I cannot recall this off hand.

I recently saw an episode on Hallmark Channel (can't remember which episode) but Cindy was going somewhere and when she said goodbye to her dad, she quickly kissed him on the lips. I have to admit, it took me off guard.
