"Battlestar Galactica" Vet Tricia Helfer Cast as Fangirl in "Community"

Geeks everywhere are rejoicing. Everyone's favorite skinjob Tricia Helfer is joining "Community's" fourth season.

According to TVLine, the "Battlestar Galactica" actress will play Lauren, a sexy fangirl of the "Doctor Who"-esque series Inspector Spacetime.



The fourth episode of the quirky comedy's new season will focus on Inspector Spacetime superfan Abed (Danny Pudi) attending a convention for the (fictional) series.

There he'll befriend Little Britain's Matt Lucas and Helfer.



"Community" returns Friday, Oct. 19 at 8:30/7:30c.
