(Alice & Trixie are at a Brooklyn pool.)

Alice: "Feel how hot it is Trix."

Trixie: "Oh it is hot. My Ed loves the fact that today he can get a tan. His job doesn't allow him to get much of a tan and when he does, it is a polkadot one because the sun light seeps into the manhole cover's holes."

(The men arrive. Ed pushes the barbeque grill. Audience applauds.)

(Ed accidentally rolls the grill onto Ralph's foot.)

Ralph (yells): "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU?"

Ed: "I'm sorry. It is not my fault that you have big feet."

Ralph (yells): "IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOURS."

Alice: "Ralph, are you sure that the grill is allowed here?"

Ralph: "Certainly it is. After all, this pool is owned by a former mayor of Miami Beach."

(Audience cheers.)

Ed: "I got the hot dogs and hamburgers and cheeseburgers."

Ralph: "Let me see them."

(He does.)

Ralph: "They look great."

Trixie: "What a Labor Day this will be."

Ralph: "This day is to celebrate the working man."

(They all sing a song about the working man. Audience applauds at the end. After that, Ed & Ralph start cooking.)

(Later on, Ed is eating a banana peel. He accidentally drops the peel right next to the grill.)

Ralph: "MMMMMMMMM BOY, DO THESE BURGERS LOOK GOOD."

Ed: "All people who work should get Labor Day off just to celebrate the way we are."

Ralph: "You are right Norton. If I was working down at Miami Beach, I would play golf every Labor Day."

(Audience cheers.)

Ralph: "Every working person should get a day off to enjoy the fruits of their labor."

Ed: "I know you do."

(Girls laugh with Ed.)

Ralph: "Oooooh, you three are a riot. I am going to the bathroom.)

(He does. He comes back out.)

Ralph (slipping on the peel which causes Ralph to push the grill into the pool, yells): "DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOO!"

(Splash.)

Ed: "Looks like my Labor Day celebration on the job.)

Pool Owner (yells): "SIR, GET THAT GRILL OUT OF MY POOL. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED OT BRING GRILLS HERE."

Ralph (yells): "YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT NORTON!"

(They fight. The cops get called. Ralph & Ed go to jail.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. The Miami Beach Labor Days are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
