Well it has happened! I seldom am able to post anymore except when BREAKING NEWS happens. The full direct totally informercial free feed of MeTV has begun for anyone who has Time Warner Cable in the NY/NJ Metro Area! Digital Channel 146.....
With 24/7 coverage it is perfect timing as the fall schedule begins Monday, Sept 3, 2012. Each morning be treated to favorites like "Petticoat Junction", "Donna Reed", "My Three Sons", "That Girl", Afternoons include "Emergency", "The Wild Wild West", "The Rifleman" and overnights treats like "Route 66", "Night Gallery", plus shows that at the age of 50 I have never had the opportunity of even seeing like "The Rogues".
As a lifetime New Yorker I can literally tell you some of these shows have not been seen in the metro area in 40 or more years!
This is the second "classic related channel" TWC has added in recent months adding the little known Magic Johnson owned channel called "Aspire" on launch day (Channel 171), that channel targets towards an african-american audience but features not the same old series that similar themed networks show. Aspire brought out the '68 "Bill Cosby Show", as well as "Julia", literally except for a few episodes on TV Land has not had a full 86 episode run broadcast since the 70's!, They also run the syndicated "Flip Wilson", "Soul Train" and oh yes "I Spy".
So right now in NYC metro with TWC....you get ASPIRE (Channel 171), Antenna TV (Channel 166), WGN America (Channel 162), & now yes MeTV (Channel 146) all 24/7.....no deletions or cover up's!
