"Doctor Who": 'The Angels Take Manhattan' Poster

The day many "Doctor Who" fans have been dreading is right around the corner: Amy and Rory are saying goodbye to the Doctor.
Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill will depart "Doctor Who" in the Season 7 episode, 'The Angels Take Manhattan'. In the episode, the Ponds and the Doctor head to New York City and go up against the Weeping Angels. Not everybody makes it out alive.
However, the Doctor won't be alone for long. His new companion, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman, debuts in the Christmas special and will appear in the second half of Season 7.
"Doctor Who" Season 7 premieres Sat., Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. ET BBC America.
