I wondered the other day being huge fans of Punky Brewster and The Facts of Life if Punky ever hung out with the girls? Has anyone ever heard or seen anything about them together? They were both produced by NBC. Both in the 80's same time frame. Both about girls being the main characters.
Just wondered. I know she was much younger than them. offtopic: She was in a episode of Diff'rent Strokes Sam's New Pal.All of the FOL girls and Punky turned out to have good lives. They are all pretty to.

I suppose it's possible, the only thing is that I believe the girls on Facts of Life were several years older than the cast of Punky Brewster. In her first season, Punky and her friends were still in grade school, whereas in the same time frame (1984-1985) FOL was in it's sixth season and those girls were in their late teens. Jo and Blair were in college and Tootie (the youngest) was graduating high school.

I'm sure at some point they met each other and interacted at network or industry events; but I wouldn't imagine the teens on FOL would be too thrilled to hang out with a group of 9 and 10 year olds that made up the PB cast.

NBC did not produce The Facts of Life. The show was actually produced by T.A.T. Communications Company from 1979-1982, Embassy Television from 1982-1986, Embassy Communications from 1986-1988, and Columbia Pictures Television during its final months on NBC.

But of course they both aired on NBC.

I know. I'm just correcting the original poster.

Margo should've guest starred as a relative of Blair's. They were pretty much the same character at different ages.

Lisa and Soleil were both in the cheesy-but-good 1987 TV movie Back to Next Saturday (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eitz_-P9OY) and Soleil and various FoL girls worked on episodes of Hollywood Squares and One to Grow One, although I don't think they ever did an episode together.

Hope this helps. :)

Wouldn't Blair have been too stuck up to hang out with Punky?

Well, Punky Brewster took place in Chicago, IL while The Facts of Life took place in Peekskill, NY. Never the twain did meet.

Except when Blair went on one of her shopping sprees in Chicago!
