Stuart is here to stay on "The Big Bang Theory".

Actor Kevin Sussman, who plays the comic book store manager, has been promoted to a series regular for the CBS comedy's sixth season, Deadline reports.

Sussman has had a recurring role on "The Big Bang Theory" since Stuart was introduced in Season 2. The character won't appear in every episode of the show, but he will likely be in more than half of them, according to Deadline.

Will his presence have any impact on Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) new relationship with Amy (Mayim Bialik)?

Sussman was a series regular on "Ugly Betty" and also had a recent guest stint on "Weeds".

I like when the gang interacts with Stuart so I'm glad he is going to be on more often!

It's clear why they've added him, and for good reason. If Raj was ever going to talk to a woman without alcohol, it would have happened by now. This is the writers giving him a new friend now that Howard's married to Bernadette, and as a result, they can give Raj story lines of his own. We'll see how this plays out.

I like the actor and the character of Stuart as well. He's definitely a good mix for the other characters on the show!

Kevin Sussman's deadpan delivery is fantastic - hes a good fit as the mgr of the comic book store and I like that he will be more involved.

Kevin is a welcome addition to the show. His "date" with Raj was hysterical. Kind of reminds me of a young Joey Slotnick.

What was this all about? Kevin Sussman was a series regular on The Big Bang Theory during season 6, and now, during season 7, he's back to recurring status again. I think this would be more of an "also starring" than being a series regular / on the show's main cast. Plus, Sussman appeared in only eight episodes during season 6 (six of them credited as main cast).
