Justin Bieber Gets Animated for "Simpsons" Cameo

Justin Bieber is heading to Springfield! The singer recently finished recording a cameo for "The Simpsons".

Entertainment Weekly reports the singer broke the news in a now-deleted tweet, stating: "just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy."

Executive producer Al Jean confirmed to the magazine that the 'Boyfriend' singer will play himself in an episode where Bieber "tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him."



"The Simpsons'" 24th season premieres Sept. 30 at 8/7c on Fox, but Bieber's episode, 'The Fabulous Faker Boy' won't air until 2013.

Justin Bieber may be generating headlines right now all over the globe on his world tour, but he’ll make a pit stop stateside this weekend in Springfield. The singer has recorded a brief cameo as himself for Sunday’s episode of "The Simpsons", 'The Fabulous Faker Boy' (Fox, 8 p.m.).

“He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him,” hinted Simpsons exec producer Al Jean, adding: “Draw your own conclusions.”
