TBS really went out of their way to throw an episode of My Name is Earl into the schedule. They should just start this new schedule in September instead of making 2 separate changes, people who aren't like us on the blog will have no clue when anything is on. Also, 11am-1230 is too good a timeslot for Fresh Prince when they have much newer sitcoms worth showing.

5. Reelz (mainly for Wings)

I would replace a couple with Antenna TV and This TV but I don't get those.

Yeah, that's why I didn't include sports channels either. It actually was a stretch to name 5, LOL.

As for my top 5 right now, just replace CBS with Fox Sports Detroit (for Tigers baseball only).

I think TV land will fall out of my top 5 the remainder of the year because since they removed Three's Company I won' be watching it that much. And the Cosby show being on at 8pm only works for the summer because in the fall you have the current tv shows that come on at 8pm and sports so TV land will be dropping to like number 12:lol:

Regarding the sports channels, which I watch a lot of since the networks don't have many good shows on in primetime, I use the following rule: If they don't cover hockey, I won't watch it! So with that in mind, these are my top 5 sports channels:

1. TSN
2. Sportsnet
3. Leafs TV
4. NHL Network
5. ESPN Classic Canada

What year did you completely stop watching new television?

January 1, 2007. The next morning I disconnected the Cable Equipment from my TVs, went over to the cable company and turned them in, terminating my subscription. As I mentioned before on previous posts, I was spending $65.00 a month to watch their commercial-infested programming, after seeing an age-inappropiate commercial aired during a kids show three months earlier, I decided enough was enough. :angryfire, I began using that money to purchase my programming on Home Video -Primarily DVDs. As you can see from my Signature I've done fairly well without Cable (or even Broadcast) TV, and I don't miss it one bit. Every now and then a Program will come out that piques my interest, all I have to do is wait a few months before it will become available on DVD, and I'll watch it at my leisure! :D

It doesn't sound normal for someone to only turn their TV on to watch DVD's or VHS.

Actually it is a bit crazy, :happyface   :rotflmao: :brent CRAZY LIKE A FOX! :D

As I mentioned before, it's cheaper for me to watch my programming this way than it is to sunscribe to a Pay-TV Provider. I get my News off the Internet, and if something BIG really happens, I can stick an Antenna on my TVs and pick up all the free stuff. :D Right now I'm monitoring the weather, keeping an eye on Isaac, which looks like it's heading for my home state! (I've stocked up on Emergency Supplies, just in case).

New shows are being created all the time so you maybe missing out on a great 2012 show. I wasn't a big sitcom watcher in 2004 but in the past 4 years they have gotten a lot better

Yea sitcoms are making a comeback. In 2004 I was watching just 2 sitcoms that eventually went down to 0 for the first time in my life. Now I watch quite a bit of sitcoms again. They aren't as good as the classics of old but some of them are pretty good. :)

You are right. I don't watch all these in one day, I alternate each day But I do watch more TV than the average person because I have live in bed due to my illness. You might be shocked by how much I can see staying in bed 24/7 but it's not by choice. I pray each day that I recover so i can live a normal life again. And it is hard for me to name just five because I like so many of them that air older shows. Have a blessed day. :)
