At least it's exciting for me!:D I was told that the newest member of The Spinners is Flint, MI native Marvin Taylor. I knew him when he was a checker at our local Meijer store. He didn't show up for work one day because he had a chance to audition for The Spinners in Detroit. Well he was fired but he is now a Spinners member! This is so cool! He is a really nice and charismatic person and I have missed him checking out my groceries! I am so happy for him! Good Luck always Marvin!:)
Here is a part of the story which I found online.:) Marvin Taylor: “I think it was in May, when I heard that there’s an opening in the Spinners. Jessie Peck told me about it.” Bobbie: “We auditioned more than one person. Marvin’s winning qualities are his talent, his personality and it appears that he’s a team player.” Marvin: “My first performance with the group was, when we opened up for the Temptations in San Bernardino at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts on June 13th. I started rehearsing about a month and a half before that. I know it all now. I’m pretty adjusted to their movements.”

Marvin Louis Taylor was born on August 28 in 1962. “I was born here in Flint, Michigan.
Marvin is second from the left in photo number 1 and second from the right in photo number 2.

Cool News! I remember seeing them on American Bandstand many years ago & I believe they did "Rubberband Man". I also had a couple of their records, "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love" & "One Of A Kind Love Affair."
