Like seeing him sometimes with his male friends watching a game and chilling out. He was just mainly around his wife, kids, parents, and at work.

Those eps when Clair is out of town he just looks so foolish being home alone when he could have hung out with the guys.

So this show supports that once you are married......."it's goodbye to your friends"

We never saw Claire out alone with her Friends either. At least we saw Cliff out and about, playing Petanque and cards with his friends.

Is that the episode where Rudy was suppose to go on her double date with Cliff and Claire. And Cliff was in the kitchen with Claire's friend husband. Isn't that the episode where Cliff said he made up a dance called "The Stroll"

It was another ep when clair was in the living room and vanessa or denise came back and reported how theo was acting and they all bust out laughing.

I have to figure this out. I know it was either season 2 or 3.

Cliff had been seen with friends. Case in point, Scott Kelly, his old friend from the Navy. One of the signature scenes of the episode was them trying to sneak eat junk food, only for their wives to catch them in the act.
