DAMM:o I don't think it's that big of a deal. The regular refs wern't doing that great of a job in the first place. TVFactFan 08-13-2012, 09:43 PM I don't think it's that big of a deal. The regular refs wern't doing that great of a job in the first place. You post just confirmed why this is horrible news for everyone hawkeye123 08-13-2012, 09:50 PM You post just confirmed why this is horrible news for everyone Not really! I think some trained monkeys could do just as good of a job, as the regular refs. That being said I think the replacements will do just fine. It’s going to make very little to no difference once so ever. TVFactFan 08-13-2012, 10:17 PM Not really! I think some trained monkeys could do just as good of a job, as the regular refs. They might actually do a better job. TVFactFan 08-13-2012, 10:53 PM Not any worse than a regular referee, which is obviously my point. They might actually do a better job. How can they do a better job if they are already messing up in preseason? hawkeye123 08-13-2012, 11:24 PM How can they do a better job if they are already messing up in preseason? It doesn't matter who is wearing the zebra suit, they are all going to mess up. What have the replacements messed up on? TVFactFan 08-13-2012, 11:29 PM It doesn't matter who is wearing the zebra suit, they are all going to mess up. What have the replacements messed up on? Tons of things, it's been talked about on ESPN every night. bad calls, missed calls, calling player by the wrong number. hawkeye123 08-13-2012, 11:51 PM Tons of things, it's been talked about on ESPN every night. bad calls, missed calls, calling player by the wrong number. I'm sure it hasn't been that bad. It's just a over dramatization. And I see those same things when the regular refs are making the calls. They are terrible at making calls. I don't know how many times. I have seen refs affect games. But still for the most part it's not that bad. I will see if I notice a difference. But honestly big deal lol I could see if we we're talking replacement players or something. Dianne3 08-14-2012, 03:29 PM If this is the worst news for the NFL, then the NFL is in great shape. At least you have football. No labor dispute disrupted the actual game. Mr. Television 08-14-2012, 03:33 PM I don't really care. We get screwed by the refs no matter who is out there. I'm sure they'll get better as the weeks go by. TVFactFan 08-14-2012, 03:41 PM I don't really care. We get screwed by the refs no matter who is out there.
