Could love be in the air for "Two and a Half Men's" Jake Harper?

Miley Cyrus will be guest-starring on the CBS comedy, playing a new girl on whom Jake (Angus T. Jones) quickly develops a crush, E! News reports.

Cyrus will appear in "at least several episodes" of the show, according to the report. CBS did not immediately reply to TVGuide.com's request for comment.



The singer/actress may also be showing off a new look in her role. Over the weekend, Cyrus posted pictures of a new (and ultra short!) choppy platinum blonde hairstyle on her Twitter page.

"LOVE my hair <3 feel so happy, pretty, and free," Cyrus tweeted.



Apparently not everyone is a fan of her new look — but Cyrus couldn't care less.

"if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all," Cyrus tweeted. "My hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)."

Awesome news Miley is a very talented young lady. I must say I preferred her hair the way it was though. That being said it looks alright.

Miley Cyrus is stopping by "Two and a Half Men" ... and hopping in bed with Ashton Kutcher.

In the Thurs., Oct. 17 episode of "Two and a Half Men", Cyrus plays Missi, the daughter of a friend of Walter (Kutcher) and her arrival begins to make him feel old.

Plus, Jake (Angus T. Jones) returns home from the Army to visit Alan (Jon Cryer).

i think this is just stunt casting - she really isn't that good of an actor; it stems from her going to the DISNEY SCHOOL OF RIDICULOUS OVERACTING
