Chad Johnson Evelyn Lozada Reality Show Canceled

VH1 is pulling Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada's planned reality show "Ev & Ocho" in the wake of Johnson's arrest on domestic violence charges.

Johnson, an 11-year NFL veteran wide receiver formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, was arrested Saturday after allegedly head-butting Lozada, one of the stars of the VH1 reality show "Basketball Wives", outside the newly-married couple's Davie, Florida home.

They were reportedly arguing over a receipt for a box of condoms.





VH1 posted a statement announcing the cancellation on its blog:

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”

The show was scheduled to premiere on September 3, and was to cover the couple's July wedding.





Meanwhile, HBO confirmed to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald that the incident and its aftermath will be featured on Tuesday night's episode of "Hard Knocks", the football reality show chronicling the Miami Dolphins training camp.

Johnson was cut from the team Monday.

I heard about this and that's sad. I like Evelyn a lot even though she's got some issues but she's hot. I hope she finds a man that will make her happy because i don't think Chad is the one for her. It seems to me she likes ignorant black men and she needs a good man like me. Her daughter is cute and i hope she doesn't date the same type of men like her mom.
