Thanks for the great news.

I'm inferring that Season 3 sold well. Does anyone have any numbers for copies sold?

That's something that is never available but I wish it was so I could have a better understanding of why some shows have faster releases and some have slower releases

As I said in other thread I don't see Diff'rent Strokes getting a complete series release. Plus there isn't much in way of extras that they could release.

I think Good Times was a show released as a series set with no extras

So was the complete series set of Sanford & Son, which was also released in subpar packaging compared to the original season sets! :(

Back on topic, I may not be a Diff'rent Strokes fan myself, but I'm still happy for all the Diff'rent Strokes fans out there! It's good to see some shows continued to be released on DVD, unlike some of my favourites...

If season 4 does well i see no reason why this show shouldnt be complete on DVD in 2013

I don't know what extras Diff'rent Strokes would have either. I just bought the complete series of Sanford and Son yesterday for just $25 at WalMart. It wasn't the best packaging but it was a great price and is a lot cheaper than buying them individually. I will probably start working on getting Diff'rent Strokes sometime around Christmas.

Thanx for the heads-up!!

It was reaaly no excuse for the extreme slowness in releasing later seasons of DS, considering that they should have done when we loost Gary, or not too long after!!!!

Amazon needs to come down on the price a little as well. :(

Maybe the Facts of Life episode when Wills Guest starred? That would be a nice extra.

The only TV special I remember Gary appearing in was a Howdy Doody special. This is the info I found on it, from a site offering bootleg DVDs:

@HOWDY DOODY 1 DVD 40TH ANNIVERSARY 1987 120 minutes, vg picture with pee wee herman, johnny carson, gary coleman, milton berle, buffalo bob smith and monty hall
